October Happenings

October has been very busy and fun!  Here are a few highlights.......

Ethan’s class got to go to Cornbelly’s. I hadn’t been there since Thanksgiving Point first opened with their first corn maze...I think I was in high school. Now there are so many things for kids to do and explore.....very fun!

My Grandma, Aunt, and Mom planned a surprise party for my Grandpa, who turned 80 this month!

Ethan’s school had a Fall Harvest Carnival as a fundraiser.

Ethan and Austin’s Great Grandad and Grandmother came by to say hi.  They were visiting from California.

Halloween party at school and trick-or-treating with cousins.

Beautiful Provo trail in the fall and sunset at Utah Lake.

Pics from Jerusalem

Bryan had the opportunity to go to Jerusalem earlier this year for a religious piece he is working on. I was looking through his pictures again and wanted to post some of my favorites.

South Fork Park Field Trip

On October 1st Ethan’s class had a Leaf Hunting field trip. There were several different stations where the kids got to make things with leaves they found. After we did each station, Ethan wanted to make a fishing pole and “go fishing”. It was a nice fall day and we had a good time. Here are the things he made.

I really liked these nature journals they made!  It was very pretty up there that day, and now just a week and a couple of days later it looks a lot different. Yesterday there was even SNOW on top of the mountain! I’m soooo not ready for winter. I wish fall was a longer season than winter, I love it!
