We had hoped to have Aubrey's blessing when Bryan's Grandad and Grandmother could be here, but we couldn't get it to work out with Bryan going out of town and my dad going out of town. We ended up having it November 4, 2012. It was a nice day and Bryan gave her a great blessing. These were his thoughts before he did the blessing:
FAMILY: That you will stay close to your family, knowing they love you, and that they will be cheering for you along your pathway to spiritual success.
TALENTS: Strive to develop your talents The Lord has given you, that you might bless others and do good with those talents
NEGATIVITY: Over look the negativity in the world, you will undoubtedly see, that you might be happy, and a positive influence for good, and see the beauty that is all around you.
PRAYER: Seek life's answers through prayer, trusting that God will respond
GOD EXISTS: Never forget God, nor allow yourself to become confused of his existence, that you may see Him in all of creation.
FRIENDS: Choose wisely your friends. Be strong when they falter, and humble when you need their help, and that you will serve those around you.
MORALITY: In this day of great immorality, understand the importance of, respecting your body, marring in the temple and living worthy of the spirit. Learn all you can, so that you may do what God expects of you.
DREAMS: That you may recognize the fairytales of the world, though fun to entertain at times, i bless you with the sincere desire to seek eternal perspective, and dream of the day when you will be back in the presence of your Heavenly Father.

Then during the blessing Bryan's sister, Jessica, was so sweat to write some of the things he said down. I didn't even think about it.
"Aubrey, we bless you that you will stay close to your family. We also bless you that you will develop your talents, so that you can bless and serve those around you. We bless you that you will find the good and be a light to those around you, and be an influence for good. To be able to overcome the negativity of the world and to remain happy and positive. We bless you to stand for truth and be strong when others around you falter. We also bless you to be humble and to seek guidance from those around you. Use prayer to find answers concerning the church. We bless you, Aubrey, that you will be able to return to your Heavenly Father someday. Fairy tales do come true if you follow your Heavenly Father."
After the meeting we went outside for a few family pictures.

We are so happy to have Aubrey in our family. She is such a sweet girl with a sweet spirit. She will bring much happiness into our home. The boys are already in love with her and try to get her to smile. We are truly blessed!
